WEST DIRECTION YANTRA

Yantras are mystical symbols which represent specific cultures or religions and are extracted from symbolic elements. They are induced with power to make them effective. The word yantra literally means something which a root object which liberates one from bondage. It has been derived from the Sanskrit words ‘yam’ and ‘trana.’ Different religions have different yantras which symbolize their deities. Talking about Hindu religion, the yantras here are mainly inspired by natural or abstract objects like a Shivalingam is actually a naturally acquired smooth stone while ‘Shaligram, Lord Vishnu’s identity represented in geometric form, is derived out of a roundish flat stone. These forms have been prevalent since ancient times and are recognized throughout the length and breadth of the globe.



According to Dr. Puneet Chawla, a highly recognized and learned Vastu expert, yantras can even be used to  correct environmental Vastu defects. In fact he, along with his team members, has formulated special yantras which are capable of rectifying Vastu defects pertaining to every direction. He says that yantra is a super science, the study of which was evolved in ancient times. It constitutes one out of the 64 art forms which were taught to Indian prices in the past. Even Lord Krishna and Lord Balarama took proper education on yantras in their Gurukul as children. A person who excels in the art of making and understanding yantras is called a yantrik.

West direction yantra:
If the west direction of the house has Vastu defects, the following problems would occur for its inmates:

• Lots of problems start seeping into one’s life
• One starts feeling low and helpless
• Differences arise between relatives and friends 
• Various diseases may occur like bone related problems, blindness, deafness or any kind of disability may happen
• Risk of accident by a vehicle increases

The west direction gives problems if:

• There is a kitchen in the west
• The main entry into the house lies in the west
• There is an opening in the west portion of the house
• The western part of the house is inclined and has a slope
• There is a drain in the west portion of the house

Dr. Chawla says that if any of the above problems are seen within a building or apartment, be it an office or a residence, the simplest solution to it is to hang a west direction yantra, formulated and energized by him, on the western wall of the premises and all Vastu defects would automatically get rectified.
