WEST DIRECTION YANTRA

Yantras are mystical symbols which represent specific cultures or religions and are extracted from symbolic elements. They are induced with power to make them effective. The word yantra literally means something which a root object which liberates one from bondage. It has been derived from the Sanskrit words ‘yam’ and ‘trana.’ Different religions have different yantras which symbolize their deities. • Risk of accident by a vehicle increases

The west direction gives problems if:

• There is a kitchen in the west
• The main entry into the house lies in the west
• There is an opening in the west portion of the house
• The western part of the house is inclined and has a slope
• There is a drain in the west portion of the house

Dr. Chawla says that if any of the above problems are seen within a building or apartment, be it an office or a residence, the simplest solution to it is to hang a west direction yantra, formulated and energized by him, on the western wall of the premises and all Vastu defects would automatically get rectified. NORTH DIRECTION YANTRA

Symbolic elements are a part of every religion or culture in this world. However, these may vary from religion to religion. These religious symbols are known as yantras. The word yantra has been derived from Sanskrit meaning the element which makes one deviate and break through bondage towards liberty and perceive beyond it. Talking about Hindu culture, the symbols represented in it are mainly inspired by natural or abstract objects. For example, a naturally formed smooth stone is worshipped as Lord Shiva’s form, the Shivlingam while a more roundish and flat stone is regarded as Lord Shaligram, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu represented through geometric diagrams with letters and figures in Snaskrit, prevalent since ancient times. These mystical diagrams are better known as yantras which signify the very presence and essence of the deities.

Dr. Puneet Chawla, a well acclaimed and renowned Vastu expert with deep knowledge of the Vedas and Upanishads, says that yantras are geometrical representations which are capable of inducing positive vibrations within the environment. Specific geometrical yantras are used to rectify environmental Vastu defects pertaining to the direction in which the problem lies. The North direction yantra:
The following problems are faced by the occupants of a premise if the North does not abide by Vastu principles:

•  Lots of loan and debt on the head of the owner
•  Business and personal finances get totally disturbed
•  No savings or bank balance

The North gives problems if the following defects are seen in this area:

• Presence of a toilet, kitchen or a store room in the North
•  Garbage, shoes or mops, if stacked in the north, lead to problems
•  Presence of overhead water tanks in the north
•  Presence of a bedroom, stairs, pillars or a cut in the north

NORTH EAST DIRECTION YANTRA

Hence, when summed up, ‘yantra’ means a symbol which enables us to perceive beyond bondage. In Hindu culture, these yantras are inspired by natural or abstract objects like stones which are smooth and are naturally derived are worshipped as ‘Shivling’, Lord Shiva’s identity, while round and flat stones are regarded and worshipped as Lord Vishnu’s identity ‘Shaligram.’ These geometrical patterns are called yantras which are highly effective and inspiring for one and all.

Having acquired great knowledge of the Puranas and Upanishads, I believe that Vastu environmental defects can also be rectified and the energy levels can be altered with the help of these yantras.
